One killed and four injured in IED explosion
One person has been killed and four others injured in an IED explosion at the Nilam hotel near Chatakpur, Shahid Gate in Dhangadi Sub Metropolis-3.
Ram Bahadur Singh, 26, of Jaya Prithivi Municipality-14, of Bajhang district died while others; Keshab Raj pandey, 38, owner of Nilam hotel, Mabin Khan, 35, of Dhangadi Sub Metropolis-4, Jitendra Prasad Yadav of Dhangadi Sub Metropolis-3 and Laxmi Selara, 36, of of Beldandi Rural Municipality-2, Kanchanpur were injured in the explosion.
Police have found a pistol from the spot. Police has suspected the injured and the deceased might be affiliated with the Nepal Communist Party led by Netra Bikram Chand.
District Superintendent of Police Dakshya Kumar Basnet told that Ram Bahadur Singh who carried the IED in his own backpack was died after he was injured by the explosion in his lower waist according to the preliminary investigation.
