One dies in a stabbing by an unidentified person
Police have a recovered a dead body of 67 years old Manair Thakur Barahi of Bideha Municipality-5, Mudiba on November 16 near the premises of community school. Police said that he was stabbed by an unidentified person and he succumb the injuries.
Police said that he sustained several cuts on his body. The victim’s family said that he was killed as he was preparing to give statement in the court as a witness in the incident of killing Laxmi Mandal’s wife.
The family source said that there was a dispute between Bahadur Mandal and Manaira on in the issue of witness and his body was recovered the next day.
The victim went missing late evening and his son started to search for him before recovering the body. His body is kept at Janakpur hospital for postmortem. SP Govinda Thapaliya of DPO said that the incident being suspicious is undergoing investigation.
