One Arrested on charge of operating anti-election activities

Police have arrested Mechi Bureau in charge Santosh Patangwa,40 of Nepal communist party led by Netra Bikram Chand from Neuro  hospital Biratnagar on charge of operating anti-election activities.

According to the family of Patangwa, he was admitted in the hospital after he met a motorbike accident from where he is arrested. His wife Bimala said that he was arrested from the hospital bed. She pleaded INSEC to make an environment so that he could get treatment as he is not recovered from the accident. She added that his injuries are serious in nature.

A team of NHRC regional director Manju Khatiwada and INSEC regional office of Biratnagar had monitored the health situation of Suman on November 10. The team had met DSP Bishnu Hari Koirala of DPO Morang and urged to respect his right to health by providing treatment. DSP Koirala said that the police administration is serious about his treatment and said that he is arrested after he was discharged from the hospital.
