Officers of the District Locked Up by Cadres of Congress
The cadres of congress have locked up the officers of the district demanding the position of Mayor in Pokhara Metropolitan City.
According to the District Chairperson of Congress Kishoredatta Baral, during the meeting of the officers that was being held at the Nepali Congress District Party Office, the ward chairperson and district cadres of Congress had locked 35/36 officers in the office demanding the position of Mayor.
The protesting ward chairperson and Congress cadres who were outside the office have locked the entrance of the meeting room, ‘- added Baral.
Security was tightened in the premises to prevent any unfortunate incident and the officers were later released.
