Office of Radio Kailash Sabotaged by Unidentified Group
The office of Radio Kailash FM located at Simkot Rural Municipality-6 was sabotaged by an unidentified group on October 12, 2021.
Rajan Rawat, Manager of Radio Kailash FM, said that an unidentified group had vandalized the infrastructures of the radio when no one was in the office.
According to Manager Rawat, the office doors, windows, and microphone were destroyed and a hard disk, NRs. 3,000 cash, three pendrives, a bag, and a flashlight were stolen from the office.
Simultaneously the door of the Snowland Integrated Development Center which was in the same building was also smashed, informed Rawat.
Director of the Radio station, Janak Bahadur Shahi said that a complaint was filed at the District Police Office on October 13.
DSP Heramba Sharma of the District Police Office informed that damage caused by the sabotaging was worth NRs. 272,000 and further investigation into the incident was underway.
