NRA to take initiative to provide relief to quake-survivors lacking landownership documents
The National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) has decided to take initiative to provide grant relief to the quake survivors who have no landownership certificates according to RSS.
A meeting of the NRA Executive Committee held under the chairmanship of CEO Prof Dr Govinda Raj Pokharel formed a panel to sort out the problems faced by those deprived of relief for lack of landownership card.
The team is led by Dhruba Prasad Sharma to provide recommendation on policy-level provision to this regard. The panel would furnish recommendation within a week.
The NRA is yet to sign agreement with a total of 77,781 such relief recipients for lack of land ownership documents.
