NGOs roles important to make election clean and fair: Chief commissioner Yadav
The election commissioner Dr Ayodhi Prasad Yadav said that NGOs role can be essential for conducting clean and fair election.
While speaking at the interaction program with the representative in Kathmandu on April 27, Dr Yadav said that NGOs can play important role for effective voter’s education in city, ward and local level.
Yadav recommended to follow the code of conduct and expected the support from NGOs for the successful election.
Speaking at the program, commission’s member Ila Sharma said that local election is the first practice for democracy and only such election can strengthen the democracy.
Commission’s member Gopi Nath Mainali said that NGOs can play important role in providing voter’s education. He added that the interaction was organized to discuss such issues.
