Network Formed Against Child Marriage, INSEC Becomes Member
A network was formed in Dailekh against Child Marriage. The network was formed on June 29 with 11 members including Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC) under the coordination of SOSEC Nepal at a meeting of active civil society organizations in Dailekh.
The co-coordinator of the network are Seto Gurans Child Development Services and the members include INSEC, Everest Club, Sevak Dailekh, CVO Federation, Thatikandh Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Cooperative Society, Dailekh, UNESCO Centre, Panchkoshi Jwala Youth Foundation and Women Empowerment Forum.
In order to end child marriage in Dailekh district, the network has also decided to run various campaigns, public awareness and programs against child marriage by integrating the organizations active in the district with the activities of projects and programs run by the organization in their area of work.
