Nepali Congress Cadre found dead during election campaign
A cadre of Nepali Congress, Kamal Singh Lothyal of Api Himal village council-2 has been found dead. He was in an election campaign at Api Himal Village Council.
He was missing since April 27 and was found dead by the police post of Khandeswori on May 2 according to DSP Kedar Khanal of DPO. His body was recovered 200 meters down the road near Majjeko jungle.
He left his house on April 26 for the election campaign of Nepali Congress and since then he was missing.
The victim’s mother had lodged an application at Area Police Office of Khandeswori seeking for his whereabouts. The locals had searched for him but could not find him.
A preparation is being done to bring the body at Gokuleshwor for postmortem according to DSP Khanal. He died a natural death or was murdered is not confirmed according to the police.
