Nepal Communist Party Cadres alleged of charge of capturing election materials
The locals at Chaya Nath Rara Municipality-12 have accused the cadres of Nepal Communist Party of capturing election materials from the polling station at Shova Gaun.
A group of about 100 cadres led by District level leader Surjit Saud had captured the election materials on the morning of May 13 according to locals.
The cadres have captured ballot box, ballot papers and stamps from the polling centre. Chief District Officer Sharad Kumar Pokhrel said that police and army have been deployed in the incident site however CDO assured that this incident will not affect the election on May 14. All captured materials have been made void according to election officer Pundeshwor Upadyaya.
