NCP took responsibility of explosion
The Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has taken a responsibility on an explosion at Upper Karnali Hydropower office, GMR, at Birendranagar Municipality-8.
NCP politburo member Bharat Bom Ranabir said that the explosion was against the government decision to extend tenure of the hydro project which is against the nation’s interest.
On February 10, a powerful bomb was detonated in the house where GMR Company has its office. Police arrested three cadres of NCP on charge of their involvement in explosion.
The arrested were Goma Oli, 38 of Birendra Nagar Municipality-8 however other two names have been not disclosed by the police. They were arrested for further investigation according to Inspector Dhruba Thapa.
