National Human Rights Action Plan in Dilemma
The implementation of the report of fourth National Human Rights Action Plan is in dilemma according to the District Administration Office.
The discussion held in District Administration Office in chairmanship of Chief District Officer has said that the implementation part of the fourth National Human Rights Action Plan is in dilemma.
The conclusion drawn from the meeting is normally sent to home ministry and home ministry send the report from all districts to the Prime Minister’s Office however in recent days there has been problem on preparing report itself according to acting CDO Janak Raj Sharma.
There has been confusion on collecting data especially after the nation headed towards the federal structure according to acting CDO Sharma.
Chief District Officer Pushpa Raj Shahi said that there is a confusion on who is supposed to prepare the report and in which body the report will be sent. He added that the fourth NHRAP itself is very vague and it needs to have a clear picture.
