Mother killed her daughter in retaliation
Police have arrested 48 years old mother Raj Kumari Mandal of Janakpur Sub-metropolis-24, Sonapada on December 5 on charge of killing her 16 years old daughter Soni Kumari Mandal.
The accused was made public by the police through a press meet on a same day. According to SP Govinda Thapaliya of District Police Office, victim Soni was in a relationship from a long time and was urging mother for marriage. The mother killed her over a marriage dispute.
On December 5, they both had a dispute over the marital issues and the victim hit her mother with a wooden stick on her head. During the retaliation the accused hacked her to death.
The postmortem of the body was conducted at Janakpur Zonal Hospital on December 6 according to the police.
