Medicine Crisis in Hospital
There has been a medicine crisis in District Hospital of Jaleshwor. There has been an acute shortages in essential medicine like CItamol, Metron, Amoxciline and medicine related to diarrhea according to Chief Dr Rajeev Jha .
More than 150 patients come to visit hospital in daily basis as per hospital’s data. The shortage is due to failure in delivering a medicine for the first quarter.
Patients are saying that they are compelled to buy medicine from pharmacy which was free in the hospital.
Chief Manish Pandey of District Health Office said that he will initiate to supply medicine as soon as possible.
The government has announced to provide 70 types of medicine in District Health Office however it is not implemented in practice.
