Media Partnership meeting Held by INSEC
A media partnership meeting has been held in Narayangadh of Chitwan on December 15 organized by Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC).
Speaking at the program INSEC mid-regional coordinator Krishna Gautam put his view that media must bring out the incidents of Human Rights violation and related incidents more effectively.
He added that media has not given due importance in the issues of human rights violation and said that it can play a vital role to make the state responsible and accountable to protect and promote the human rights in the country. He stressed that news related to human rights violations must be published in media to make the state responsible.
Speaking at the program Central Secretary Rajendra Paudel of Human Rights and Peace Society Nepal said that media must involve sensibly in the incidents of human rights violation.
The program was held to discuss about the media’s role in protection and promotion of Human Rights. There were 30 participants including human rights activists, media personnel, and security guild.
