The 13-point manifesto issued by the General Citizen Conference held in Hetauda on October 8 was submitted to the Speaker of the Bagmati Province Assembly to address the challenges faced by the country and its citizens under the current governance. Due to global climate change children, women, senior citizens, minorities, and people with disabilities are more affected in communities below the poverty line. The manifesto urges the three levels of government, development partner organizations, and the global community to engage in responsible resource management and climate adaptation programs in order to mitigate these issues.
