Man held on charge of rape
Police have arrested 24 years old Deepak Raj Karki of Jajarkot Bheri Municipality-2 and currently living at Balephi Rural Municipality on December 4 on charge of rape. He is charge of raping 14 years old girl on August 31 by luring her.
The victim is three months pregnant according to the victim’s party. A complaint against the accused was lodged at District Police Office by the victim’s family on December 17. The incident was revealed after the mensuration period of the girl stopped suddenly according to her mother.
The victim underwent health checkup at District Hospital on December 4 according to police.
Similarly, police have arrested 14 years old boy on December 3 on charge of raping 10 years old girl. The victim was raped by the accused on November 26 and complaint was lodged at Area Police Office Melamchi on December 1 according to inspector Mahendra Darnal.
According to the police source, the victim underwent health checkup at Primary health centre on December 1.
