Man Accused of Killing Wife Arrested
The police have arrested Shambhu B.K, 48, on the charge of beating and killing his wife Gyani B.K, a 45, Dalit representative ward member of Namobuddha Municipality-11, in a domestic dispute.
Dhan Bahadur B.K,brother of the deceased, filed a complaint against the accused, on June 15, at the District Police Office, Dhulikhel.
According to District Police Office DSP Dhundiraj Neupane, the accused had beaten up the woman on June 12 during a domestic dispute. DSP Neupane informed that she was seriously injured due to the beating .
The injured woman was taken to Dhulikhel Hospital for treatment, and she passed away on June 15, during the treatment.
The body’s postmortem was done on the same day at Dhulikhel Hospital.
