Man Accused of Killing Wife, Arrested
Police arrested Lakshman Rai, 38, on June 20, on the charge of Killing Nisha Rai, 31, of Sirijungha Village-3 Sikaicha.
DSP Rajan Limbu of the District Police Office said Rai was accused of killing his wife, in an intoxicated state, by hitting her with a log during a domestic dispute. Police Station, Kandebhangyang, arrested the accused at the scene of the incident.
The body of the deceased is at the mortuary of the District Hospital for post-mortem.
