Locals cancelled child marriage
The locals have cancelled a child marriage of 15 years old girl on March 27.
The locals have cancelled the marriage of a girl after she attempted a suicide by jumping in Bheri river after she was being forcefully married by her family.
The victim’s family had organized a marriage ceremony of a girl with 25 years old Keshav Nepali of Tripura Sundari municipality-7 on March 24.
The girl attempted to commit suicide after marriage and was rescued by the locals according to Shanti Kathayat of Mahila Jagaran Munch.
The marriage was cancelled and the case was settled that the family will not force her to marry her.
