Local Administration warns to close Pharmacies operating without criterion
The local administration of Jajarkot has warned to close down the pharmacies that are operating against the criterions.
The District Administration of Jajarkot said that majority of pharmacies operating in district headquarter, Kalimati under Nalgadh Municipality, Thalaha Bazar under Chedagad Municipality and Panchkatiya under Kushe Rural Municipality.
In the headquarter, out of 10 pharmacies and clinic, only six have met the criteria according to the DAO.
The pharmacies have been alerted and warned to renew their shops and register the pharmacies in the name of the owner who will be operating this according to CDO Lalit Kumar Basnet.
The monitoring has found that in majority of the pharmacies in Jajarkot, medicine are being sold without doctor’s prescription according to CDO Basnet.
