Landslide Caused Significant Damage to Healthpost in Sindhuli
The landslide caused by heavy rain on the night of August 10 has damaged the Sumnamampokhari Health Post in Fikkal Rural Municipality-2. The damage occurred when the road near the health post collapsed and fell onto the healthpost building.
Ward Chairperson Shankar Bahadur Bhandari reported that the landslide and gravel from the road fell onto the roof of the Sumnamampokhari health post, causing significant damage and cracking the building. He noted that the damage has affected the health services. Bhandari emphasized the need to continue providing services in the damaged building, despite the risks.
