Journo Attacked while collecting news
The news representative Sudeep Kaini of Kantipur daily has been attacked on January 15. He was in Abukhaireni Rural Municipality-3 of Tanahu for collecting news regarding illegal excavation of sand according to the victim.
There were involvement of four youths on illegal collection of sand and they attacked journo while he was gathering information. Their identity is yet to be identified.
Kaini sustained eye injury and his camera was vandalized by the group. They have also controlled his mobile according to the victim.
The victim has lodged a complaint at Area Police Office demanding the action against the accused.
The Area Police Office of Abukhaireni has said that the attackers have been identified and they will be charged.
FNJ Gorkha branch has condemned the incident while releasing the press statement and demanded the action against the guilt.
