Insects Found in Powder Milk
An insects were found in powder milk used for producing milk in Milk distributing unit of Biratnagar. The incident was made public after a monitoring team led by Commerce Office found insects in powder milk on September 28.
The consumers said that this incident has affected the image of Milk Distributing Planning which had a good reputation.
The monitoring team had monitored lab, store room and production unit plant of milk distributing planning. The team has also directed to take action against those involved in negligence.
The monitoring team has also directed the employees to use gloves and aprons as the production unit is dirty and unhygienic. The team has also directed to improve the planning within a week along with warning.
Sacks of milk powder were destroyed by the team. The distributing center has been distributing 2500 liters of yogurt, 10,000 liters of milk and 1000 kilos of Paneer in a daily basis.
