INSEC Draws Attention of Local Administration
INSEC Surkhet has drawn the attention of District Administration Office on September 14 to solve the problems of flood victims who have been living in temporary shelters in various places of the district.
INSEC district representative Durga Thapa has drawn the attention of administrative officer Hit Prasad Paudel of DAO after meeting with flood victims living in temporary shelters.
The attention was drawn after the victims were not provided any relief and proper shelter or their reestablishment even after two years.
The victims said that they have not received any money from the local administration to buy land. Prior to this, the local administration had said that it will provide Rs 50,000 to buy land and Rs 75,000 to build houses.
After drawing the attention, the administration has shown its commitment to provide relief to the victims as soon as possible.
