INSEC Provides Support to Rape Victim
INSEC provided financial assistance to the family of a 12-year-old rape victim to proceed with the judicial process on December 3.
The mother of the victim approached INSEC Arghakhanchi, seeking assistance in the justice process on November 9 expressing difficulties in maintaining basic living standards and affording meals.
The Ward Office of Sandhikharka Municipality-7 recommended INSEC for financial support, highlighting the victim’s extremely poor financial condition.INSEC district representative Kul Bahadur Nepali assisted the victim’s mother with Rs 8000.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the District Police Office on September 24 alleging that 20-year-old Ram Bahadur Pun Magar, Sandhikharka Municipality-2, Chutrabesi raped the girl on September 24, 2023.
The police arrested the accused on September 25. The health examination of the victim was done on September 25 at Arghakhanchi Hospital, Sandhikharka.
