Inmates and detainees facing difficulties due to overcrowd
The inmates and detainees in district prison of Bajhang are facing difficulties due to the over capacity, The prison building has a capacity to accommodate only 25 inmates however there are 54 inmates and detainees.
There is a crisis of clean drinking water, toilets, entertainment and even sleeping spaces according to jailer Rajendra Bohara. The prison building was built almost three decades ago and it is in dilapidated condition.
