Impeachment Proposal, a painful and condemnable step in democratic and judicial history
The Accountability Watch Committee (AWC) has released a press statement on May 2 and condemned the incident of impeachment motion registered against CJ Sushila Karki by Major political parties. The statement said that the impeachment proposal is a painful and condemn-able step in the judicial history of Nepal. “ The AWC condemns the step of impeachment proposal”, the statement says.
The committee says that the impeachment motion is direct intervention on freedom of judiciary of Nepal. The impeachment proposal without any solid fact is a question mark against the supremacy of SC.
