Husband Arrested on charge of Intimidating Wife
Police have arrested 36-year-old Suraj Nepal on September 16 on charge of beating his wife Sarita Nepal, 31 of Chautara Municipality-6.
Inspector Kedar Basnet of District Police Office said that the accused was arrested after the complaint against him was lodged at District Police Office on September 15. The accused had beaten his wife with an iron rod on September 14.
The victim sustained several bruises over her body and undergoing treatment at Chautara Hospital according to the victim’s sister Muna Sapkota.
