Husband Arrested On charge of Injuring Wife
Police have arrested 25-year-old Narayan Shrestha on September 18 on charge of beating and injuring his 23 years old post-paternal wife Anjana Shrestha of Sandhikharka Municipality-15 on charge of giving birth to a baby girl.
The victim’s family had lodged complaint at police office on September 16 after the accused had severely beaten his wife and left her unconscious in a jungle while on the way back home after the health check up of a baby on September 14 from a District Hospital.
The victim said that she was severely beaten by her husband on charge of giving a birth to a baby girl in Okhre jungle of Sandhikharka .
The victim sustained several bruises on her body and head injury according to the police.
The police had found Anjana in the jungle of Sandhikharka on September 15 based on information. She was rushed to the hospital for treatment according to the inspector Sujan Raj Bhandari of District Police Office.
