Human Trafficking Accused Arrested
Police have arrested Himlal Sarki, 40, owner of Prabhat Hotel of Ghorahi Sub-Municipality-14 on September 23 on charges of trafficking four girls aged 15, 16 and 14.
According to DSP Sumit Khadka of the District Police Office, four girls were rescued by the police on September 20 after receiving information that they forced into prostitution at the hotel. According to him, the investigation is ongoing by registering a case related to human trafficking.
The four rescued were examined at the Rapti Institute of Health Sciences on September 21. The girls were handed over to their parents on September 21.
