Human Rights Activists demanded for micro investigation of the incident

The human rights activists have drawn a serious attention on a suspicious death of Khim Kala Belbase,45 of Bandganga Municipality-14 on October 14 and further demanded for the micro investigation of the incident.

A team of Pom Narayan Paudel, central vice-president of Human Rights Alliance, Surya Kumari Shahi, a central member, District president Rom Kanta Ghimire and INSEC district representative Nanda ram Paudel has demanded for the detail investigation after conducting a field visit on October 17.

The victim went missing from her home on the night of October 13 and her body was found hanging on a tree, the next day.

The team concluded the incident being very suspicious according to Pom Narayan Paudel.

The locals said that despite of suspicious death of the victim, police had sent the body for postmortem without the consent of family members. The activists said that the main concern is handing over the body for final rites by the police after the postmortem without family consent.

The victim’s husband Bhabishwor Belbase had lodged a complaint at police office against the suspicious death of his wife. The locals had organized a press meet on October 16 and demanded for the detail investigation of the case.
