Health-worker Beaten During Duty Hour
Prem Bhandari, 25, a, Assistant Health Worker of the District Health Service Office, Humla, has been beaten by three men on August 19.
Ashish Rawat, 25, Akhil Rokaya, 26, and Karan Sunar, 21, of Simkot Rural municipality-6 have beaten Prem Bhandari of Simkot Rural municipality-2 and injured him, informed Chief of the Health Services Office Prem Bahadur Singh to the INSEC representative.
Chief Singh said that eight stitches were put on the victim’s head.
According to him, the door of the emergency room has also been vandalized. Singh informed that a complaint has been lodged against the accused at the District Police Office on August 18.
According to DSP Surya Prakash Subedi of the District Police Office, the accused Ashish and Karan have been arrested by the police on August 18.
