Health Services Affected Due to the Lack of Doctors
The health services at Zonal Hospital of Kanchanpur has been affected due to the lack of health professionals as per their posts. The patients are facing difficulties and are deprived of health services after the posts for doctors still remains vacant.
The hospital which was established in 1972 has always faced this problem according to Dr Ganesh Bhatta.
There are posts for 29 doctors including 17 specialists however only five doctors are working in this hospital.
The patients are deprived of their constitutional rights due to the lack of doctors.
Shre Ram Tiwari, a director of Mahakali Zonal Hospital said that the hospital is facing such problem due to the ineffective monitoring by Health Department.
