Grant agreement only after two years of devastation
In Dhankuta, reconstruction and grant agreement has begun from April 10 after the two years of devastating quake. The grant agreement has begun from Dhankuta Municipality.
The agreement has commenced in presence of CDO Prem Prakash Uprety, Local Development Officer Purba Prasad Sapkota, Dhankuta Municipality chief Tirtha Prasad Dhital and NRA officials.
Tulsa Katuwal of Dhankuta Municipality-3 said that the victims are relieved by this agreement despite of late agreement.
The grant of Rs 50,000 will be distributed as a first installment to the victims. In Dhankuta 2,472 names have been accepted for the grant agreement in two phases.
The fund will be provided through various banks of the district according to CDO Prem Prasad Dhital.
