Government to extend Term of Taskforce
The government has decided to extend the term of the task force formed to suggest the government on the report of the Local Level Restructuring Commission after analyzing the complaints on the LLRC’s report.
Government has formed such task force under the convenorship of Minister for Federal Affairs and Local Development, Hitraj Pandey during a meeting held between Prime Minister cabinet on February 28. The government had already extended the time frame of the task force for seven days after the Madhesi Morcha showed their dissatisfaction over the report presented by the restructuring commission. But the commission could not complete its task with in the stipulated time and the time has been further extended.
