Girl Rescued From India
A 16-year-old Nepali girl was found in Gorakhpur of India and was rescued with the help of Indian Police on 7 March 2020.
Peace Reestablishment Home rescued the girl of Kapilbastu Municipality- 8 Dihani and handed her safely to her family, informed coordinator Bhumiraj Bhattarai.
The girl disappeared on 21 February . She had gone to celebrate Shivaratri and was contactless, after which her family filed a complaint on 22 February. With the information that she had entered India through the border of Khunuwa, police rescued her from Gorakhpur, coordinating with the Indian Police.
Investigation is ongoing to find the person behind her disappearance.
