Absconded Accused of Murder Arrested
Police arrested Aith Sin Bhomjan, 38, on December 27, 2022, on the charge of killing Muskan Thing, 12, of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-16, Babedanda
After the victim was found dead on the morning of December 25 in a community forest in the distance of 300 meters west of her house. The police started an investigation on the suspicion of murder. The postmortem of the dead body was done on the same day at Hetauda Hospital.
DSP Tek Bahadur Karki of the District Police Office said that during the interrogation, Bhomjan admitted to the killing. Bhomjan allegedly confessed that she was killed by accidentally hurt her sensitive organs, while he was joking around with her
Makwanpur District court has permitted police to interrogate Bhomjan in six-day custody.
DSP Karki said that the crime is being investigated under Section 177 of the Criminal Code-2074, Chapter 12 of the Crimes Related to Life.
