Four Injured During Clash Between Inmates at Child Reform Home

Four people were injured in a clash between inmates at the Jayendu Children’s Reform Home, Duduwa Rural Municipality-6, Asamanpur on July 8.

According to Bimala Kauchamagar, Chief of the Reform Home, the juveniles got into a fight over eating food. During the clash, 60 of the inmates broke the lock and escaped.

DSP Narayan Dangi from the District Police Office informed INSEC that they have arrested 58 of the escaped juveniles, and are currently searching for the remaining two who are still absconding.

According to SP Tul Bahadur Karki from the District Police Office, the clash was initiated when a group of four attacked the watchman of the reform home. He mentioned that the group had planned and subjected the watchman to beating because they were dissatisfied with his behavior. Furthermore, the incident is being investigated.
