Four complaints Lodged on sexual abuse during conflict era
In Ilam District, four complaints on sexual abuse during armed conflict era was lodged at truth and reconciliation commission according to the local peace committee.
The complaint was lodged against former Nepal army and Police on July 5 according to Dikendra Idingo, secretary of local peace committee Ilam.
Prior to this, other two complaints of sexual abuses on July 5, 2004 were lodged along with those complaints. There are more complaints of sexual violence are being lodged against former army and police personals after the time frame to lodge complaint was extended.
According to Idingo there are 981 complaints lodged at TRC until July 4. Similarly, 21 complaints are lodged at CIED.
