FORUM Asia Shows Its concern over Bangaladesh Foreign Donation Regulation Bill
The Asian Forum For Human Rights and Development (FORUM-ASIA) has expressed its concern over the enactment of Foreign Donation Regulation Bill (FDRB) by Bangaladesh aiming to impose restriction on the activities and ability of foreign funded NGOs to access resources.
While releasing a press note on October 27, the FORUM-Asia further stated that the enactment of such bill will surpress the activity of Civil Society and demanded for an immidiate removal of this provision.
FORUM-Asia said that such enactment of law will also violate the freedom of Bangaladeshi people ensured by the constitution of Bangaladesh.
