Formation of Community-level Network against Trafficking: Finance Minister Mahat
The government has announced a plan to formulate a community-level network to control human trafficking and transportation.
Finance Minister Prakasharan Mahat, during the presentation of the budget for the financial year 2023/024 in the Parliament on May 29, 2023, announced the plan.
The Minister of Finance further stated that the government intends to increase the efficiency of action against trafficking through effective coordination with the police and social organizations.
