Five Years Sentence to the Accused of Attempted Rape
The District Court of Udayapur has ordered to sentence Bir Bahadur Magar of Khanbu -6 for five years on September 5. He was doing his jail term on charge of attempting to rape a four years old girl.
A single bench of district court judge Raj Kumar Koirala has given a verdict regarding the case. The accused had attempted to rape a girl in 2015, March 30 and her relative had lodged a complaint against him at District Police Office on March 31.
The victim had undergone a health checkup at District Hospital on the same day and accused was remanded in custody on Aprl 23, 2015 as per court order.
