Five Years Imprisonment For The Crime Of Kidnapping, Hostage And Rape
The district Court sentenced 32-year-old Pramod Kumar Shah of Rautahat District Chandrapur Municipality-10 to five years imprisonment on October 8, 2023 for the crime of kidnapping and raping a 19-year-old girl.
Registrar Sadan Adhikari, of the District Court informed that the bench of honorable Judge Kamal Prasad Pokharel found the accused guilty and sentenced him to five years imprisonment with compensation of Rs. 75000 to the victim.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Haripur on April 9, 2023 alleging that the accused kidnapped the victim and raped her on April 9.
The health examination of the victim was done on April 16, 2023 at District Hospital Malangwa.
Registrar Adhikari informed that the accused is in Sindhuli District Jail for judicial enquiry.
