Fire Destroyed Four Houses in Dhanusha

The fire that occurred in Raghunathpur of Sabaila Municipality-12 and Simarahi ward no-10 on May 3, destroyed a total of four houses.

Inspector Sundar Chaulagain of the Area Police Office Sabaila informed that a goat farm and a motorcycle in Raghunathpur were destroyed by fire. Similarly, property worth around 18,75, 000 including all the belongings of the two houses in Simarahi were destroyed.

Laxman Prasad Shah, in-charge of Municipal Police, said that the fire started at 2:00 PM and was brought under control at 3:30 PM.

Mayor Kariram Yadav added that the joint efforts of the fire brigade of Sabaila Municipality, Nepal Police, and locals brought the fire under control .

Biswas Lal Karna, Chairperson of the Disaster Management Committee of Sabaila Municipality informed that an emergency meeting was held on May 4. Subsequently, Rs 21000, 100 kgs of rice, 10 kg of pulses, five liters of cooking oil, two kgs of salt, and two Tarpaulin were donated as relief to the fire victims.
