Difficulty in treatment due to Financial crisis
Samjhana Das, 18 and Sishmita Das, 15 of Chandrapur Municipality-6 are facing difficulties on treatment after an unidentified people sprinkled acid on their face while sleeping on the night of September 13.
The victim’s father Jadolal Das said that he could not afford to treat his daughters. He added ” whatever I had is finished and my daughters are in hospital bed but I do not have money for treatment”.
Sanjhana sustained eyes, hand and chest injuries whereas Sushmita sustained hand and body injuries and receiving treatment at Kritipur Hospital in Kathmandu.
Police have failed to arrest the accused however DSP Yuv Raj Khadka of DPO said that the investigation is undergoing.
