Federal Coalition gives ultimatum to government to present amended proposal

The agitating federal coalition has given an ultimatum to the government to present the proposal of the constitution amendment in parliament within November 30. The coalition has given an ultimatum during a meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on November 13.

The ultimatum came out while government is doing a home work to present the constitution amendment in the parliament. Prior to this the coalition had already warned government to begin their agitation if the amendment bill is not presented in the parliament with in the end of this month.

In a meeting, the federal coalition has also presented a memorandum to the government regarding the constitution amendment. While receiving the memorandum, the Prime Minister has shown his commitment to register the amendment proposal. Meanwhile, the coalition have stressed on constitution amendment with consensus.

The government is preparing to amend the constitution regarding provincial demarcation, citizenship, language, representative of National assembly and judiciary.
