Father Arrested on Charge of Murdering his Daughter
Police have arrested a 45-year-old Shiva Mukhiya on August 18 on charge of murdering his 14-year-old daughter Prabha Kumari of Mahadevpatti VDC-3.
Police have arrested the accused after locals informed about the incident to police according to DSP Hovindra Bogati of DPO.
She was murdered after her father came to know about her affair with one youth according to locals.
Based on a statement given by an accused, a dead body of the victim was recovered from Pachrauta jungle on August 18 by a team of police led by the inspector Chakra Bahadur Shah of Area Police Office of Pokhariya.
The body has been sent for post-mortem at Narayani sub-regional hospital according to the DSP Bogati.
