Family of person with disability searching for assistance
Most of us may have known about the family having just one or two people with disability. But, in the family of Siumal Thapa of Deusian Bichhuyan-6 there are five family members out f seven are disabled from their birth. Siumal and his wife both are hearing and verbal impaired. Their 20 years old elder son Bir Bahadur, younger son Bisan and daughter Anjana are visibly impaired. Their remaining 14 years old daughter Bijaura and 11 years old son Dhanamal is looking after the family.
Siumal said that he possess a little land in the village however there is no one to look after it. If neighbor supports him to cultivate the land, he is able to support his family for two months otherwise he will be in crisis for rest of the year. He is getting food from nearby shops in credit so that he can pay after getting social security allowance from the government.
He further curses his fate and pleads for support. The remote village and pain within him has made his family helpless.
No one has provided support to his family yet, not even NGOs. Neighbor Bir Bhadur Bohara said that their life is in pathetic situation and urged for their support.
