Election is a fundamental rights of people: Pyakurel
Participants of the program said that election is a fundamental rights of the people. An interaction program was organized by CCCE in Birgunj on June 13.
The program was participated by concerned stakeholders and all of them have put their views during the program.
Speaking at the program most of the participants stressed on local government and there are no alternative to it. They asked not to obstruct election in the name of agitation and urged government to make environment for election.
CCCE co-chairperson and INSEC chairman Subodh Raj Pyakurel that it is citizen’s fundamental rights to choose their representative periodically. He said that no one should attempt to obstruct the election.
Speaking at the program CCCE co-chair and HURON chairman Indra Aryal said that obstructing the election will motivate the regression.
The program was chaired by Dr Hare Ram Thakur , chairman of HURON Parsa.
